Make sure that both ElvUI Config and ElvUI are enabled in the addons list: Click the 'AddOns' button in the left bottom corner of your character selection screen. If you had ElvUI previously installed, you'd get a message asking to replace the current folder - click 'Yes':
Unpack the downloaded archive to your WoW Addons folder (World of Warcraft -> Interface -> Addons) The version on Curse is outdated.įollowing the above link, you will find two addons to download: Tukui and ElvUI. This UI will arrange your interface to be more flexible and practical.ĭownload ElvUI from Tukui.
As such, you’ll only ever have to update ElvUI and not worry too much about its individual components.
It has multiple addons and plug-ins integrated into it, such as Dominos action bars and TidyPlates. It completely replaces the default Blizzard UI at every level with a new and better interface.
I'm positive prepatch will be live on the 29th.ElvUI is a full UI replacement. I'm personally thinking we'll get the announcement on the 17th with the last Afterlives, or the 18th for the close of the mount vote. The two week thing has been out the window for a while. Others have also already mentioned the 10 day warning for Legion>BfA and 12 days for WoD>Legion. Jan 6th announcement and Jan 14th release. Comment by Donhorn on T22:45:03-05:00Īll the people throwing around the minimum of two weeks thing are forgetting that the most recent season end for 8.3 had an 8 day gap for the announcement. Pretty sure the last two warnings were twelve days and ten days. FOr context the BFA Prepatch was 3 weeks long so the 6th would make seance if they kept to a similar plan.Įxcept for how it hasn't always been a two week warning. Comment by jaq1010 on T22:43:29-05:00įYI Anyone saying next week forgets that they give 2 weeks for the pvp season to end. I’m surprised how much has been done, honestly. But, I’m still hyped! Been in alpha and beta and things have really been clipping along. I’m thinking ore-patch will be a 2 or 3 week long affair, at this point. They said to hurry up a while ago last minute Walmart shoppers. The 29th is as close to a month before Shadowlands launch as they can get. That's then no more 2 weeks, that's the whole point. A shorter than usual prepatch makes no sense especially with all the class changes and leveling changes people want to play with.
I bet they'll announce it in the Revendreth video to be the 29th the absolute latest. It was only 12 days notice in WoD before Legion Pre-patch. FOr context the BFA Prepatch was 3 weeks long so the 6th would make seance if they kept to a similar plan. The BFA pre-patch/ Legion 7.3.2 end of season was a 10-day notice. Or they can just give a warning later this week and make it September 29th. On the other hand they can bring the prepatch in 2 weeks, but this would mean no more end of season warnings?
They didn't give us a season ends warning? Assuming the patch comes 2 weeks after the warning, this means patch will hit the live servers earliest 6/7th of october, but that would mean a the preptach only lasts for 3 weeks. Players with Shadowlands PTR or beta installed shouldn't have a large download, roughly 370MB, as the installation shares data between PTR/beta and retail clients. What to do Before ShadowlandsWhat Is Coming in the Pre-Patch Recently, we compared the durations of past Warcraft pre-patches and most are only four weeks long, so we could be seeing the Shadowlands pre-patch on September 29th. It's hard to predict when the pre-patch could hit based on the background downloader, as the schedule was all over the place in BFA: 8.0 prepatch data started three weeks in advance, while 8.1.5 data was a week in advance. However, they did send out emails earlier today warning players that time was running out to acquire various BFA mounts and achievements.
The patch will download in the background if you have that setting enabled in your client.Ĭurrently we have no scheduled date for the pre-patch, as Blizzard has not released a date or an end-of-season arena warning. Blizzard has pushed the data for Shadowlands pre-patch to the background downloader of the Application.
